Valentine's Day!

This is the lesson I gave at Girl Talk on Tuesday night. I hope it will encourage you.

Today is Valentine's Day. 

Some of you might have a special somebody. 

Today he probably gave you a special gift. 

Maybe some chocolate.

Or some candy.

Or a rose.

I have a special somebody too. 

I'm very excited about about him

because he loves me very much.

And I love him too.

Now you might already have a special somebody,

but I know somebody who LOVES YOU MUCH MORE than your special somebody.


If you don't know him he is your SECRET ADMIRER!


But you might ALREADY KNOW WHO HE IS.


He gives bigger and better boxes of chocolate.

He gives prettier roses.




HE'S THE SAME ONE AS MINE.


HIS NAME IS JESUS!


THIS MIGHT SOUND STRANGE TO YOU.


BUT IT'S REALLY NOT.


Most of you probably already know the biggest sacrifice and gift he gave which was dying on the cross, even if we don't understand all the benefits.


 


BUT THAT'S NOT THE END OF THE STORY!


JESUS IS PASSIONATELY PURSUING YOU TODAY!


HE IS GOING AFTER YOU.


HE IS GOING AFTER YOUR LIFE,
YOUR SOUL.


HE LOVES YOU TODAY AND EVERYDAY.


HE IS FAITHFUL TO YOU TODAY AND EVERYDAY.


HE IS WITH YOU TODAY AND EVERYDAY.


HE GIVES YOU HIS WHOLE HEART.




AND IN RETURN HE WANTS YOUR WHOLE HEART.


Now we have things in our life, our heart, that are very important to us.

CLOTHES




BOYFRIEND




MOVIES



T.V.




WHAT WE READ



SCHOOL




YOUR ROOM




FAMILY




FRIENDS




WHAT WE SAY





WHAT WE THINK




GOD WANTS US TO GIVE ALL THESE THINGS TO HIM.


HE DOESN'T WANT US TO JUST GIVE HIM SOME OF OUR HEART.




HE WANTS EVERY ASPECT OF OUR LIFE.


"AND YOU WILL SEEK ME AND FIND ME, WHEN YOU SEARCH FOR ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART."


JEREMIAH 29:13


WE CANNOT LOVE PERFECTLY.


BUT JESUS LOVES PERFECTLY.


AND WITH HIS LOVE IN US,
WE CAN BEGIN TO LOVE PERFECTLY.
