Dedicated to all those who hurt and long to be loved

There is so much pain. all around. 
Heart pain. and it is so real. 
It hurts. It is not pretty.
He hurts with them. with us.
It is His pain too.
He cries with them and sometimes for them.
And He intercedes.

The pain of confusion.
The pain of hurt.
The pain of so many leaving. betraying.
The pain of of anger, bitterness, and resentment.
The pain of unfaithful ones who were supposed to be the faithful ones. 
The pain of not knowing and sometimes just not caring what I'm supposed to do. what is right. what is wrong. No one ever taught me.
'It was never supposed to go this way. Not for me.'
The pain of longing to be loved. with real love. unconditional love. selfless love. 
The pain of trusting and then being hurt again and again.
The pain of guilt with no grace.
The pain of no one really caring.
The pain of not knowing the One who loves them so much. with the selfless, unconditional love they have always been looking for. Of not knowing Him who is faithful. who never leaves.
He is in constant pursuit of their hearts. 

Please join me in praying for all those who hurt and need Jesus. 

Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 
I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance. 
Luke 5:31

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
    because the Lord has anointed me
    to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
    to proclaim freedom for the captives
    and release from darkness for the prisoners,
² to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
    and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
³     and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty  instead of ashes,
the oil of joy instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise  instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
    a planting of the Lord
    for the display of his splendor.
