Harding group weekend

I hope you are doing well!

We are missing Annalisa a lot! But I'm very thankful for all that she is getting to learn and experience in Colorado. 

Three girls from Harding came on their fall break. They were wonderful! We had three events. 

The first on Friday evening- the girls got to come to a 'normal' girl talk and spend time loving and showing Jesus to our core group. Most of the girls seriously think my family are the only people in the world like us that love The Lord and love the people around them. It's always great for the girls to see other people who love Jesus and are following Him with their lives. 

 

Saturday morning we had our quarterly get together for all the younger girls! The theme was princesses of King Jesus. The Harding girls and a couple older gt girls decorated the place beautifully with streamers, pink table cloths, pretty table settings, and balloons. We didnt want this to only be fun but to be a time were they truly feel loved, safe, and special. We did several fun interactive games, made crowns that said 'Princess Ariyah    Daughter of the King.' with lil jewels on it. We decorated cupcakes with pink icing and mms, jelly beans, and skittles. Yum! :) One of the girls, Haley, talked about how each of them are Daughters of the King. We had also written specail notes for them and stuck them in dIfferent balloons. So at the end they got to pop their balloon and read their note! 

Saturday afternoon we had a very small group of girls that have experienced some extreme pain and suffering their lives. One of the harding girls so graciously opened up and shared her story with them. It is a story of much pain and hurt but it is also a story where Jesus dwells and He is bringing healing; it is a story of redemption. It was powerful. The girls also shared and we prayed over them. Please please please pray for these sweet girls who are suffering and need Jesus and His healing deep in their hearts. 

Between all these events the girls spent a lot of time with the girls that hang around our family. It's always neat to watch one of our gt girls watch these girls and listen so intently to conversation and actions. They take in everything! Those were the main things we did but there was so many more things that they did. They were a huge blessing and encouragement!
